Don’t expect Duke Johnson Jr. to disappear in 2018

There hardly needs to be some grand investigation into why the most underrated running back in fantasy football, at least for standard point-per-reception formats, got that way. Two years ago, Draft night included the trade that sent Victor Oladipo from the Orlando Magic to the Oklahoma City Thunder, with Derrick Rose going from the Chicago Bulls to the New York Knicks the day before.

Three years ago, it was Nicolas Batum to Charlotte. Four years ago, Even Fournier was sent from the Denver Nuggets to the Magic. And of course, in 2013, it was on Draft night that we learned of the Celtics-Nets trade that would (officially go through in early July and) set Boston up for the future with a bevy of Brooklyn picks.
